How to bookmark your practice-specific login link

Each practice has a unique Referral Intel portal link.

Bookmarking that link makes it easier for your team to access Referral Intel quickly and consistently throughout the day.

Short answer

After your practice receives its Referral Intel welcome email, open your practice-specific portal link and save it as a browser bookmark.

We recommend naming the bookmark:

Referral Intel Portal

Why bookmarking matters

Referral Intel is cloud-based, and each practice has its own unique login link.

Using the correct link helps your team access the right practice portal and keeps your workflow consistent.

A bookmark also helps avoid common issues such as:

  • Staff searching for the wrong login page

  • Team members using an old or incomplete link

  • Confusion between the portal link and referral form link

  • Delays when trying to update referral status

  • Missed updates because the portal is not easy to access

Which link should be bookmarked?

Bookmark your practice portal link, not your referral form link.

These are different links.

Your practice portal link is for your team.
Your referral form link is for referring offices or providers.

The portal link is where your team logs in to manage referrals, update statuses, view dashboards, and track referral activity.

Where to find the portal link

Your practice portal link is included in your Referral Intel welcome email.

That email may also include:

  • Login credentials

  • Your referral form link

  • Setup instructions

  • Information for embedding the referral form on your website

If you are not sure which link is the portal link, contact the person in your practice who completed the initial Referral Intel setup or contact Referral Intel support.

How to bookmark the portal in your browser

  1. Open your Referral Intel welcome email.

  2. Click your practice-specific portal link.

  3. Confirm that the Referral Intel login page opens.

  4. Save the page as a browser bookmark.

  5. Name the bookmark Referral Intel Portal.

  6. Place the bookmark somewhere easy to find, such as the bookmarks bar.

Who should bookmark the portal?

Any approved team member who uses Referral Intel regularly should bookmark the portal.

This may include:

  • Practice owners

  • Providers

  • Office managers

  • Front desk team members

  • Referral coordinators

  • Treatment or care coordinators

  • Marketing or outreach coordinators

Only approved team members should have access to the portal.

Recommended team workflow

For the best results, make Referral Intel easy to access from every workstation where referrals are managed.

We recommend:

  • Adding the bookmark to front desk computers

  • Adding the bookmark to office manager workstations

  • Adding the bookmark for team members who update referral status

  • Keeping the bookmark name consistent across the practice

  • Reviewing the bookmark during team onboarding

Common mistake: bookmarking the referral form instead

The referral form is the link used by outside referring offices or providers to submit referrals.

Your team may use the referral form occasionally, but it is not the main login portal.

If a team member opens the referral form when they meant to manage referrals, they may be using the wrong link.

Make sure the bookmarked page leads to the Referral Intel login page, not the referral submission form.

What if a team member cannot access the bookmarked portal?

If a team member clicks the bookmark but cannot access the portal, try the following:

  • Confirm the bookmark uses the full portal link

  • Confirm the team member has active login credentials

  • Try opening the link in a different browser

  • Check internet connection

  • Ask the practice administrator to confirm access

  • Contact Referral Intel support if the issue continues
